  • Summary: This was a Christmas gift to my grandson. The play discouraged him immediately and I understand why. I don't recommend it.

If you like lame games - this one is for you!!!

prattcarioca, Amazon
24 May 2011
  • Summary: This game was not anything like other Cabellas hunting games I've purchased. All you do is stand like a duffus on the edge of a lake & get timed to shoot stuff. There is this worthless hunting dog that I would prefer to shoot than hunt with. There is no searching the wilderness, tracking down your prey, then lining them up in your sites & taking it down w/ a heart-shot like you would do if you were really out there. I was very disapointed.

Not worth the rental price

A. Lister, Amazon
5 February 2010
  • Summary: This game try's to combine elements of a faithful simulation with traditional video game features, However the game has inherited some of the most annoying features of both. For example you would assume the game would let players wander around an environment killing as they pleased. However what the game has instead are environments the player can only enter for 2 minutes before the challenge time runs out. Very annoying.

Easy to Play for Younger kids

R. Grady "bg", Amazon

  • Summary: I bought this for my nephew. He rented this game and liked it because it was easier for him to play. some of the other hunting games have maps you have to follow and track animals. This is a more simplified it just goes to the action.

First time bad choice

Stevie D. Jacobs, Amazon
15 February 2009
  • Summary: We ordered this item and it was undeliverable and we still haven't received our credit back to our card so, the rating on service is poor. We did go back and order from another company but, hubbagames still hasn't corrected the problem.

  • Summary: This must be a first generation game from Cabela's as the graphics leave a lot to be desired. It's a good way to kill some time (no pun intended) but is not as good as big game hunter. If you like this type of game it is probably worth the money but I would go for one of the newer games.

  • Summary: This game is a real stinker! Holy cow, I couldn't wait to get my review out so more people don't waste their money. You start the hunt session and you instantly start shooting. The controls are bad though so you won't really hit much. I thought it was supposed to be mainly hunting deer; nope, you harvest more birds than anything. This is NOT a good representation of the hunting experience so don't bother. Awful!!!!!

Fun game, Loading is a little slow, Instructions could give alot more details.

Darren A. Lueking "dlueking", Amazon
17 July 2008
  • Summary: Pretty good game. I think the price of $39 is a little high should be around $25. I play the game with the Wii zapper and it is a little frustrating that to select thing you have to push A when it would be better to use the B button to do this. It is a little slow to start and in between hunts while it loads. During the game it is fine. Instructions could be more helpful. Don't be afraid to be switching guns and gear through out the hunts.
