Summary: While the game is pretty spot-on and a tons of fun, the gun seemed a bit unnecessary. The scope was a bit wonky and didn't properly calibrate with the game. It was actually easier to play the game without the gun. While it's a really impressive accessory, it's not really necessary to have. The game is a lot of fun. Great multiplayer and single player. The minigames are challenging as well. Great buy!
Summary: This was a gift for my husband. My family had lots of fun playing this game. Much to my husbands distress, so far it turns out that my 13 year old daughter is the best at shooting in this game.
Summary: Straight out of the box it was a home run. Don't be persuaded by the reviews of bad calibration. I tried and was successful setting it up on a 32', 42', and 56' TV. Don't use the scope and wait for the cursor during calibration, you'll be fine.
Summary: My brother takes several hunting trips and has 2 young daughters. He loves playing the game both with and without them. It helps him share the experience with them and also gives him some escape when the rest of the family is asleep. While I have not played personally, he has mentioned to me a couple times he enjoys playing.
Summary: there is a calibration issue but it can be conquered. i called the 800 number in manual and got help. for big screen tv's calibration is off. the problem is in the sensor bar. place sensor bar at bottom of screen. it needs to be elevated to level with the bottom of the screen. not sitting on the tv table but elevated above the table to level with the bottom of the screen. i used a thin box to elevate to this height. the top shot elite will then calibrate.
Summary: I ordered it way in advance before Christmas and to have it delivered to my parents. Let's say my son was pretty disappointed when it came way after Christmas. The game is good just took a long time to get.
Summary: I haven't really been interested in any shooting game for years, let alone a hunting game. (I am a scrawny computer nerd.) I was expecting a really simple shooting game, and was pleasantly surprised and challenged. This is a very well structured and thought out game. It's not just a simple shooting gallery. You feel like you are actually hunting. There are goals and objectives which must be met, and you can develop a bit of skill.
Summary: Concept Excellent "A", Graphics EXCELLENT "A" you really feel like your walking through the woods!!! Execution of using gun FAIR "C". There are 2 parts to game Gallery Mode and Story Mode.
