  • Summary: Bowling is fun and this game can be fun if you get the hang of it. Then you will love this Wii bowling game.

I don't see what's so bad

  • Summary: Sure the controls are a bit finicky at first but once you get used to them they work really well. The characters are a bit rough around the edges and the music sucks but that's not a big deal since you can simply turn it off. I bowl on a team (in real life) and playing this game helped me straighten out my shot and actually bowl better. I have an average of around 140 and going back to Wii Sports brought it down to 85. So I prefer this game.

Decent

  • Summary: This game is very hard to get the hang off. There are a lot of different supplies to chose from when you do season, but you can only use two balls. The controls are very easy, but it is hard to find out where to throw your ball. Your ball will go to the same place you aim almost every time you throw. I've had the game for a while and i still am not great. I got one 300 game but never went back up to that. Your ball will not be consistent every "week" in season.

It's not that bad, people were hasty to berate it.

  • Summary: Like a lot of really low reviews, when I got the game I was pretty annoyed at the game play, expecting something like the gameplay of Wii bowling but with more options and maybe a bit more realistic looking. The only big drawbacks I can think of, really, are that the graphics of the characters are not that good, but otherwise is just the alley, the balls, and the pins; the characters are stiff and very un-life like.

The Bowling Game Wii've Been Waiting For!!!

Telemachus, Amazon
27 August 2007
  • Summary: When we bought our Wii last December, we immediately became addicted to the bowling game in Wii Sports. The Wii Sports version is simple, and fun for both adults and small kids, but we wanted something more accurate and challenging. We soon heard that Brunswick Bowling would be released sometime in 2007 and it topped our list of titles we wanted for the console. Brunswick Pro Bowling is a really solid addition to our game collection.

  • Excerpt: " I write this review having just scored eight, yes eight strikes in a row on Wii Sports bowling so I like to think I am somewhat of a pro. We have had this bowling game for a number of years now and I was excited when I first got it as bowling is one of my favourite games from the Wii Sports game but unfortunately I didn't think this bowling game was as good as it should be and was just a bit of an extension of the Wii Sports game and nothing too different ...
  • Pros: Fun game
  • Cons: Not too different from original
