Summary: Having played all of the original series, I was hoping that this would be a brand new game, with new puzzles to solve and storylines to follow. But alas, no, it is almost exactly the same as the original first game. Still brilliant to play, but disappointing familiar.
Summary: Its a great game, a little old fashioned but good fun all the same, but it was all over within around 30 hours. Compare it with Zelda Twighlight Princess - 37 hours and Im barely into the game.
Summary: Having played all the games in the broker sword series, I was looking forward to having a bash at this too. As expected there are the extra bits and plenty of puzzles however, that's it. The graphics and characters are all exactly like the original PC game so no attempt has been made to update them to 2D and apart from the extra puzzles it pretty much follows all the same lines.
Summary: This game is OK but not as good as the computer version. There is lots of dialogue to sit through, though some of it is amusing, but I found that I was getting impatient to get on with the game. The puzzles are fairly easy and my 10 yr old son was able to solve them without too much thought. The storyline is good but the game is way too short and a little disappointing. The action is limited and a bit tame.
Summary: I was very excited about recieving this 'new' Broken sword game, as I had Broken Sword 1 & 2 about 10 years ago for the PS1(using a mouse back then, for the 'point and click' operation). I was very disappointed to find that this game is the same, apart from a few added scenes (which admittedly are very good) but I can still remember the old clues and solutions for most of the game ( I spent so long working them out the first time round, they are engrained on my brain!!).
