Fantastic

Sbiss, amazon.co.uk

  • Summary: I think this game is absolutely brilliant. As many reviewers have noted, it is similar to both Monopoly and to Mario Party, yet different to both. It's more like Monopoly than Mario Party. The key difference is the use of stocks and shares in the regular version of the game (the easy version does not have these, but is also fun).

Better than monopoly by a landslide.

  • Conclusion: I could hardly put this game down once I picked it up. Compared to the traditional game of monopoly, this game knocks spots off of the legendary board game, and takes it to a whole new dimension. With a merge of the Super Mario and Dragon Quest characters, this is one game that you will never put down.

  • Summary: This is a great game. if you love Monpoly you'll love this. The game seems to go on for quite a while, just like monoply. I love this game but I really love Monopoly so I could be a bit biased.

A Monopolyesque Game

CoasterMadMAtt, amazon.co.uk
2 January 2012
  • Summary: Boom Street is very similar to the classic board game version of Monopoly: make as much money as possible. To say though that they are the same is wrong though as there are notable differences to be worthwhile getting both. First things first though, this game is very much a Board Game in a Video Game, if you thought the Mario Party series was slow and boring, then chances are you won't like this, there are not mini games as such, more like virtual chance and community...
