Boogie Superstar Review

Cheat Code Central
25 April 2009
  • Conclusion: Although I enjoyed last year’s Boogie quite a bit, looking back on it, there was a lot that could have been improved. And fortunately, a lot of the issues that I had were addressed, specifically in the gameplay arena. However, for all the progress Boogie Superstar made with gameplay, it gets lost when it comes to play value. Just having one mode for play is inexcusable in a modern title, and even games as basic as SingStar have more varied gameplay than Boogie Superstar.

Boogie SuperStar review

Gameplanet
21 June 2009
  • Excerpt: This one's definitely for the (pre-teen) girls.
  • Pros: A generous selection of pop tracks – they’re covers, but pretty good ones; dance moves are well animated; plenty of unlockables and flexibility with in-game options.
  • Cons: Some of the moves can be difficult to master, and they become repetitive; limited appeal.

Expert Review

Official Nintendo Magazine
18 November 2008
  • Excerpt: So, it looks like EA has finally worked out who the Boogie franchise is aimed at - girls. The type of girls who memorise Britney Spears lyrics and spend ages during sleepovers working out complex dance routines to show to absolutely no-one but each other.

Boogie Superstar

Game-Focus
2 March 2014

Review: "Boogie SuperStar" (WII)

gamingxp.com
8 February 2009
  • Pros: Verbesserter Tanz-Modus, Gut gelungene Grafik, Partytaugliches Multiplayerspiel
  • Cons: Nur Coversongs mäßiger Qualität, Keine Langzeitmotivation, Singen und Tanzen gleichzeitig nicht möglich

Boogie Superstar

ntower.de
13 January 2009
