Summary: I bought this for my 5 and 9 year old..who both love the WII system. This was a very frustrating game to figure out. A little hard for the younger one AND the older one. With it being a game with characters for kids- I thought it was poorly made. NOTHING like the movie is. The movie makes things look fun and cute and dangerous- as usual- but all of this is lacked in the game itself. The characters are poorly- designed, and the scenery in the game- is very disapointing.
Summary: My kids received Bolt (girls ages 8 & 10) for the Wii. Within a week or so of playing it off and on they both lost interest. The characters are hard for them to control; the scenes are very dark, like you're playing in a dark room or outside at night, and the game is just for one person. What a shame they didn't design it to be a two person game like so many other Wii games. If you loved the Bolt movie, don't expect the Wii game to be like the movie.
Summary: Got this for my daughter who was a big bolt fan at the time. She was able to play the first level just fine until she got to the challenge to dodge missiles being fired from a helicopter. She could not pass it. I've helped my kids with a lot of video game bosses and I couldn't even do it. Just a little to challenging. It seemed good otherwise.
Summary: We bought this as a present for my 8 year old daughter and it reduced her to tears with frustration and dad ended up completing most of the missions. She wanted to love it because she is such a Bolt fan but in terms of enjoyment I would not rate it very highly at all. From what I saw of it the aim of the game was mostly to blow up baddies which is not very stretching to say the least. She said she enjoyed it but there are other games she has loved much more.
