Summary: I purchased this game to play with my 8 year old nephew. We drove home excitedly anticipating the games depicted on the cover. The plastic came off, we popped open the clamshell and in the Wii it went. That's it. In all honesty, that was the most fun we had with this game. This game is better suited as a coaster than something to consider spending any time inside the Wii. The cover says basketball, soccer, hockey and other exciting games: You don't play any games.
Summary: Like everyone has pretty much already stated: 1) Can't actually play a full game in any sport 2) Controls not intuitive 3) Not worth $5 (trade in value is $0.25...should tell you something) the deca sports games were purchased shortly after we put this game aside.
Summary: This has to be the worst Wii game ever! I was hoping to be able to actually play a full game of soccer, lacrosse, tennis, and the 3 other games. There are just mini-games to play, and they are so incredibly boring. They kept my kids interest for about 5 minutes and mine for less than 1 minute. Boy do I wish I could get the money back I wasted on this game! Save your money and buy Sports Resort or anything else!
Summary: Recommendation: do not waste your money as I did. There is absolutely nothing Big League about this game. Actually, there are no games in this package; there are only skills training that are either too easy (shooting on soccer goal)or there was limited or no response to the controller (basketball dunking, quarterback throws or hockey goalie). Overall, there is no entertainment value to Big League Sports.
Summary: Total bore. The response time of the games is horrible. The games don't take advantage of the wii remote motion. Not even worth a rental. I don't know how this game made it past the development stage.
Summary: Don't make the mistake we made by thinking this was some sort of sequel to Wii Sports that came with the Wii Console. This is a really cheap, bad knock-off. We played it once and no one (including male and female kids and adults) liked it at all. I wouldn't waste 5 minutes playing it even if it were free!
Summary: We thought we were buying a game just like WII Sports except with different games, WRONG! Totally misleading title and sorry to say we paid 30 dollars for this painfully lame game. It is NOT a sports game it's more like a tutorial. We too bought this on an impulse without reading the reviews, so save yourselves and run away as far as you can from this. I would give this zero star if I could.
Summary: I agree with everyone else...this is the worst Wii game that exists. You run through boring tutorials, then <gasp> get to play. Except that it is totally impossible to actually be sucessful in this game. The graphics stink, the timing is totally impossible, and as someone else said, you barely even use the Wii remote. Terrible. Don't buy it.
Summary: The packaging of this game make it look like you actually get the play the game when you really are doing pieces of the game. For example, basketball -- their is a free throw contest, HORSE, and others but you don't actually play basketball. I was very disappointed in this game.
