Summary: My daughter bought this as a Christmas gift for her dad - thinking the entire family could have some fun playing together. To say it is a pain to play this game is an understatement. 1. Graphics appear crude after having played Wii Resorts 2. Poor control response. No matter what you do with the remote, there is absolutely no guarantee the screen will reflect it.
Summary: I got hooked on Frisbee golf after getting Wii Sports Resort and was looking for more courses to play. I only found a few other disc golf games out there for Wii, and this was one of them. The interface isn't bad, but Sports Resort is way better for sure. Like Sports Resort, this version has a large vertical zone that represents the golf hole, but here, it's a volcano making a cylindrical target.
Summary: I bought this to try the surfing game. I am a surfer and I would say the game is not very good. Only entertaining for a short time and then it gets kind of boring. You can not free surf and the tricks are pre-set and you just shift your weight on the balance board it the order of the arrows. All the other games are ok and the controls are difficult to master, even for my son who is excellent at video games. The beach buggy game is frustrating.
Better than the original, but better titles out there

Summary: A good, fairly inexpensive party game with some fun minigames, particularly when played in a group. Colorful and fairly engaging (at least initially). Games are hit or miss, that is, surfing is pretty fun as is disc golf. On the other hand rugby and cricket are almost unplayable as the controls are simple and clunky in rugby and cricket is as fun as watching paint dry. Canoeing is exactly the same as sports resort, fun, but a bit of an old hag.
Summary: Bought this because we had previously purchased Big Family Games which although basic we found to be fun with many varied games to play. We expected Big Beach Sports to be the same type of thing but were quite dissapointed. Firstly what few games there are seem very one dimensional. The American football really requires you to have a knowledge of the game which few 3yr olds or adults have.
