The storyline is appealing but the problem lies with the repetitive nature of its combat game play, plus the graphics are a bit weak too. But to fans of the TV series, this video game is just what they wanted to continue existing as part of the Ben 10 fan world. All level-ups and saving is done on the fly too, so there’s no problem with letting younger gamers just sit down and play. The PS2 and Wii versions are nearly identical, with Wii including waggle for attacks and button support on the same configuration (no control settings to deal with), so it’s about as kid-proof as possible. Mashing buttons is basically all Ben 10 has to offer. The platforming bits are dodgy - the immovable camera sees you mis-time jumps - but it does look lovely, and the QTE, God of War-style boss battles are a nice touch.
