Summary: My 7 year old girl loves this game. There are 5 or 6 mini games in each area. You must get a certain amount of roses in each area to unlock the next area. She figured out how to play almost all the mini games herself without any help. She loves going back & playing her favorite mini games over & over. The game does take a bit of time to load. I, myself, prefer storyline game, which this is not. But my daughter loves it. And kid over 10 would probably bore of it quickly.
Summary: I rented this game for my five year old and had to return it but she loved it so much that I ordered it now for her as a Christmas gift. She is 6 now and she loves everything about Barbies! I think that the game is challenging for anyone younger then 5. There are things to do for younger and older players. 5 and younger - mostly with parent's help. I enjoyed playing with my daughter though!
Summary: Maddeningly frustrating! Some of the mini-games don't seem to work properly, as they are incapable of remembering their own patterns. My 5 year old daughter, who is no video game slouch, can't grasp most of the gameplay. Even with my help (I'm no slouch, either), we couldn't make the game function properly.
Summary: Glad I bought this game used as it was an extreme disappointment. The game is too difficult for my 4YO to figure out and my 9YO thinks its too boring. The game play was really touchy and not very forgiving for an unsteady 4YO hand when using the Wii remote! I recommend the Dora/Diego series instead for age group 3-6.
