Summary: In the end I ended up taking this to gamestop but not because it was a bad game just because its not the sort of game that I'm going to spend my time playing when I have a whole collection of games to try to make time for. I still have the barbie puppy one and jet set and style because I spent more time on them plus my daughter loves the puppies.
Summary: I bought this game for my daughter at Christmas and other than playing it on Christmas day we have not played it since. It was very frustrating for my 7 year old to maneuver through and I end up doing most of it for her. It would have been much easier to move the Barbie character if we could have used the nunchuk. Considering that all Wii's come with one nunchuk it seems silly to me not to make the game compatible with it.
Summary: This game is terrible. The graphics are no better than games from 1991, it's a side-scroller, and it's impossible to play. My daughter was unable to even get past the first level, even when her father (a very good video game player) tried to get her past a hard spot or two, one of which even he gave up on. Very disappointed, as my daughter LOVED the Three Musketeers movie and had been begging for the game.
Summary: Honestly when I first started watching the game being played - my sister has it - it looked like something that I would play on the SNES way back when - or my Gameboy. Game play is uninteresting, tedious, and repetitive. They definitely skimped on cost and are relying on the movie's success.
Summary: My granddaughter in the last few months has really gotten into the world of Barbie (she is 4 years old). She had watched the movie at her other grandparents home and when I was purchasing her birthday gifts her Mom suggested Barbie and the Three Musketeers movie and WII game. Needless to say these were a big hit with her. The games are fun and easy for her to play.
