Terrible songs, do NOT try even it seems inexpensive
12 December 2009
Summary: My kids hate the songs in this game or they just don't know how to play. Played once and now ready to get rid of it but don't know how. The songs are NOT excited at all and sound more like furenal marches. Do NOT try it; it is no.t worhty to buy.
Summary: I purchased the game on Friday and I am real upset it was new, because I can't return it. Okay, from the commercial it looked really awesome. That is so not the case. Until I read the other reviews, I thought it was just me. The controls are horrible. I had gotten used to the mini-game in Fusion Frenzy on Xbox, and thought maybe like Guitar Hero that it would be pressing a key when the note or beat came. This is not the case (little ball just slides all over the place).
Summary: Ok, like many people that would probably want to try this game because they enjoyed GH2, GH3 or Rock Band, DO NOT BUY THIS GAME! I was painfully lucky that this was a friend's rental. I feel bad for my friend having spent even just a few dollars to rent this boring, pointless game. The concept of having various styles of a song was interesting, and, to say the least, the most entertaining part of the game.
Summary: For this much I would have expected this game to be of better quality. Thankfully, I only rented the game, but I can't imagine anyone ever wanting to pay more than 30 for this game; and that's pushing it. The Pros: The graphics are pretty good, and the song selection is decent. They have some recent songs mixed in with some oldies but goodies, and a few songs I haven't heard of.
Summary: If this game was a band proformance I would have thrown things at them and booed them off the stage and left feeling that I had waisted my money and time. After playing the game for about 10 min which was more than enough to give them the bennefit of the doubt, that was how I felt. I rented this game and still feel like I waisted my time and money. I was really dissapointed with the graphics and the interface, they are the worst part of the game.
Summary: It was cute for the first four minutes, but soon enough you get tired of waving your wii in different directions and getting hit by ammunition. From what I can tell, work was put into this game- but likely in the wrong places. Cute graphics and interesting music are fun, but the duelling system is difficult to follow- plus it's annoying trying to hit your notes and block other things at the same time (with a block needing to be nearly perfectly timed).
Summary: This is the worst game ever. You shake your hand right, then left and forward to awful cover versions. That is it. If i didn't have a job i would feel compelled to stand by the wii section in my local games store and plead with people not to buy it. £11.42 (17/11/08) is at least £11.43 too much for it as you should be paid to play it. I felt guilty selling it on. Can't say anything more.......apart from PLEASE DON'T BUY IT!
Conclusion: Fair play bought the game thinking it was a cheap addition to my games library but soon found myself in stitches at how poor it actually is!!! The best thing about the game is the music player which switches some old skool classics into rock/country/marching/lating and hip hop. The rock covers a mediocre (my band would have done a better job) but the rest are amusing with the latin and country bands doing the best covers.
Conclusion: So dredful its hillarious. its the worse game ever. theres 3 moves and thtas it. Its a quick buck riding on the fame of guitar hero, bought by grannies and parents "because they like to play on the gameplayers" as my nan would say.
