Summary: This item came on time as stated in the ad. It is a decent piece of equipment. My daughter doesn't feel the songs are as easy as we had originally thought, but she's determined to learn as many as she can. It was an overall easy and decent purchase.
Summary: I really like the song list. I wish it were a bit longer. This really brings the Guitar Hero series to the whole family. Unfortunately, the drum kit is unplayable right out of the box. The green pad is way too sensitive. It records a 'hit' when any other pad is struck ... including the pedal. when the green pad is struck it records a double or triple 'hit'. I've heard that the new drum set has a built-in sensitivity adjustment, but that isn't available through the Wii.
Summary: We purchased this item for our kids for Christmas. At first, I thought the whole thing performed pretty poorly (hard to determine the players contribution to the songs), but over time, the kids have come to really enjoy it. Overall, I would say our kids are pretty low impact when playing with their toys meaning that most toys last quite a long time with negligible wear and tear. Regardless, the band hero set has begun to fall apart. first, the bass pedal stopped working.
HELP! Cannot figure out how to get sound through the TV
27 December 2010
Summary: Hi, we purchased this set for my kids for the holidays and they love it. Our problem is we cannot figure out how to get the drum and guitar sounds to come through the TV. Only the microphone sounds through the TV. We've tried adjusting the remotes for each, but cannot find a volume adjuster. We see the notes for each instrument, the screen indicates when we've hit the right notes, but we cannot hear the drum or guitar sounds. Can someone help???
Summary: Does anyone else think the mic that comes with this is ridiculous? Perhaps there is something wrong with ours (it's brand new - the entire game is brand new). Are you supposed to hear your own voice like the other Guitar Hero and Rock Band games? Because on this one you can only hear yourself if you press the mic to your lips. Not only can you not sing like that, but this also distorts your voice. It's ridiculous!
Summary: This was a Christmas present so you can imagine the disappointment when the drum pedal was found broken when we opened up the packaging. The round sensor was out and unglued laying at the bottom of the box. Tried to call the company but only can get a computer automated voice.
Summary: I have not played through all of the songs yet. However there were several I wanted to check out right away because of the guilty pleasure of being able to rock out on some old songs I enjoyed. Only to have the piano part come sailing down the guitar pad. What the heck? This happened on a couple of songs. You could clearly here a guitar track going but the piano segments come flying down and it'd switch between guitar and piano. It was extremely frustrating. Mr.
Summary: I bought this for my 15 yr old daughter and 12 year son to go along with all their other rockband games to play with their friends. In the two months we have had this, I have noticed that Rockband Beatles and Rockband Country are being played all the time by the gang of teens at my house and Band Hero has only been played once or twice.
