Summary: Was a fun addition to our Rock Band / Guitar Hero collection. We loved that it includes some 80s pop songs, but where not overly thrilled with most of the more recent songs. Same look and feel of the others. Not our favorite of the series by far.
Summary: We purchased this item for our kids for Christmas. At first, I thought the whole thing performed pretty poorly (hard to determine the players contribution to the songs), but over time, the kids have come to really enjoy it. Overall, I would say our kids are pretty low impact when playing with their toys meaning that most toys last quite a long time with negligible wear and tear. Regardless, the band hero set has begun to fall apart. first, the bass pedal stopped working.
Summary: I bought this for my 15 yr old daughter and 12 year son to go along with all their other rockband games to play with their friends. In the two months we have had this, I have noticed that Rockband Beatles and Rockband Country are being played all the time by the gang of teens at my house and Band Hero has only been played once or twice.
Summary: I got this for my DD for Christmas 2009, hoping against hope it would work with RB2. It does. Except not all features do - I think the one we can't access is Mii Freestyle. Not much of a loss, but I think if Activision claims compatibility with RB or RB2, then ALL parts of the game should work. One SUPER ANNOYING thing is the editing of the songs. In American Pie, by Don McLean, they've removed the word "whisky." They just completely skip over it. Seriously?!
Summary: I got the stand alone software for my DD for Christmas 2009, hoping against hope it would work with RB2. It does. GH still can't quite compete with RB2, but great for parties...

Summary: We really like most of the GH's games and RB2's games - each for different reasons. I was looking forward to Band Hero for a game that focused less on guitar riffs but more on playing a wide range of music. Band Hero incorporates the ability to link up with your DS for various options. Since I don't have a DS, I feel that I'm not able to participate in the full spectrum of the game.
Summary: as it says in the title, it states new item on the advert and on the box, but you can clearly see it isn't it has a couple of scratches on the cd, and box is a little tatty but not worth returning as it would cost more than I paid to return, delivery was longer but that wasn't down to company fault that was the weather and royal mail
Summary: Band Hero is what PC gamers would call an expansion pack but what long suffering console gamers are forced to call a sequel. Fans of the Guitar Hero series so far will notice a few little tweaks like being able to design all 4 members of your band even when you're only playing as one of them, bigger buttons and a challenge system that inserts a bit of longevity into Career mode.
