Summary: I gave this to my husband as a gift and he was excited to receive it. He basically plays with real players, but as children versions of themselves, so it's like you're playing in your neighborhood or in your backyard.
Don't buy it for the Backyard Football name...it's not the same game.

Summary: Doesn't have the charm of the original Backyard Sports series. The players have no personality and you can't really tell who's who on the field since all the bodies look exactly alike. They turned a fun franchise into a bad, Madden wannabe clone.
Summary: Got this game for my 2 sons, 10 & 8 for Christmas. Wanted them to be able to play without having to get into all the in-depth play calling, etc that is more advanced with Madden's football. Once they figured out how to use it, they loved it & it's their new favorite game.
Summary: We had a few of these games (basketball, soccer, football) on the PC when the kids were younger and bought this after hearing them talk about how much fun those games were. Alas, they did not enjoy playing this on the Wii.
Summary: I purchased this game for my 13 year old son and he is having a blast playing. I chose this football game over others because it seemed like it would be a good fit for my son. Not too hard or too simple.
