Summary: I bought this game in summer 2012 and was very impressed when it arrived. The delivery took just 3 days. the first day i played the game 4 about 9 hours! There is a useful tutorial that really helps you to understand how the game works. You hold A for a defensive shot, just swing for an ordinary shot, and hold B for a big lofted shot. The bowling is pretty simillar, with A for a slow ball, B for a fast ball and nothing for an ordinary ball.
Summary: i bought this for my children and they said 'this game is brilliant and simple to play but sometimes when the ball is in front of the players and they just stand there and look at the ball whilst the other team is running. also when you play the ashes you can only use 1 remote so if there are two remotes on you can only use one so my boys have to swap remotes every over. It is realistic because sometimes catches are dropped and stumpings happen.
Summary: A gentle game that is very good on the wii platform. The commentators are lots of fun but of course the graphics could be a lot better. It may well encourage me to go for a newer version on the PS3 once I have that platform. Very enjoyable and good fun for cricket fans in a very simple way.
Summary: Like most other reviews of this game I think it is an excellent game with only one or two minor issues. Firstly the game is really playable my flatmate and I have played for over 14 hours none stop when we first got the game, the batting and the bowling are both good. It is not excatly like playing cricket because after all this is a game and not a high end bowiling simulator, if it were too reaisitc a novice would never have a go at playing it because it would be too...
Summary: After I watched the T.V advert for this game it looked very good so I decided to buy it, not just for me but also as a family game. In the advert it looked like a very fun game to play together and for a while it was really good but it got a little bit boring. The commentary especially just said the same things over and over, although I must admit after you first get the game it becomes very addictive but it gradually starts to wear away because I think there is a limit...
Pros: great graphics feels realitic on the wii, good to do at multiplayer
Summary: I like this game diffrent from playing station game but it gets too bored after a time its just playing the same thing time after time I enjoy bating and bowing but they are just playing the same game real
Summary: Visually impressive, and attention to detail is superb. Realistic animation, and gameplay. One for the cricket fan. Only criticism is that the instructions are not as clear as they could be. Haven't found it yet, but maybe an instructional video on the disc would been a good idea. We bought it for a Christmas party so that my Cricket playing Dad could feel part of it.
