Summary: I am a big fan of JRPGs, but what is typically wrong with one of them is typically wrong with all of them. The story is an interesting spin on already existing storylines. Pretty sure I've played this storyline in pther games at least 3 times already. The music is absolutely great, but its a shame i frequently had to mute the TV because of the terrible voice acting (which I sadly got used to). The battle system is very, very addicting.
Summary: Arc Rise Fantasia is an original rpg for the Wii gaming system. It's a combination of many rpg's before it however the meat of any rpg is the battle system, and this is where Arc Rise shines most. With many styles and strategies to dispose of your foes and over the top magic and attack animations, this rpg truly delivers fantasy over the imagination. Boss fights range from very tough to insanity and are truly rewarding once conquered.
Play for the story, but stay for the battle system!

Summary: The Wii has very few RPGs as it is in its inventory and any new addition is a welcome one to the library of games for the system. Arc Rise Fantasia is a traditional JRPG that is similar in vein to the Tales of 'xxx' games that are popular recently, even down to the individual skits characters have with each other over the course of the game.
Summary: Arc Rise Fantasia is a great RPG for fans of the genre who own a Wii. The game aims to appeal to fans of old-school RPGs by providing a colorful world and cast of characters, many dungeons to conquer and a turn-based battle system. The game is lengthy, the graphics are awesome (for a Wii game) and the battle system is fun. Normal monsters are incredibly easy, but the bosses in this game are brutal and you will cheer when you defeat a tough encounter.
Summary: Arc Rise Fantasia is one of the true RPG's on the Wii and should be a must for any RPG fan. Pros: -Long quest, at least 40+ hours and more if you do side quests. -Fun battle system. -Fun system for weapons and gaining bonuses -Challenging boss fights. -Decent story. Cons: -Some of the voice acting is weak, but I got used to it. -Regular monsters are too easy compared to bosses. -Sometimes too much talking during story sequences slowing the pace.
Summary: I really like this game, and although scenery and such is slightly "repetitive" and the voice acting terrible (to bad you can't turn off voices and they never shut up) the gameplay and storyline are incredible. I would give it four and a half stars* or four stars*.
Summary: For the most part, the other reviews hit it on the head. The gameplay is pretty nice and the battle system is very creative and engaging. The voice acting is terrible, and other than a few skits, the dialogue is tepid and boring. The one thing I wanted to add, that I find horrible in terms of shameless self-promotion, is that the character, L'Arc, is named after a previous game the company produced, Luminous Arc.
Summary: This has been one of my most anticipated titles for Wii, and so far I have to say that I really like it a lot. The graphics, while probably a little rough in places, are nonetheless colorful and pleasant to the eyes, and Yasunori Mitsuda's music is a definite plus. The battle system is also quite complicated yet at the same time fairly accessible.
