Summary: Bought this game remembering playing something similar years ago, however after 5 minutes taking the game back. Needless to say it is a frustratingly pointless game where one fights aliens with bad weapons.
Definitely not as good as the previous incarnation in the arcades

Summary: I LOVED playing the original version of this game in the arcade, and I have the Nintendo 8-bit version, and when I saw this version for the Wii, I wanted to get it. But when I did, I discovered this game was a monstrosity.
Summary: This game is really bad. Im glad I could check it out for free b/c even if I rented it I would want my money back. First off the graphics are absolutly horrible. I mean I thought I was looking at a slightly better N64 game it was that bad. Then the controls are jusr awkward and clumsy.
Summary: this is a very repetitve game every stage is the same you have to get from one point in the map to the next you can even run away from all the enemies and complete the stage. i would definitely avoid this game it was a waste of my £5.00
Very simple in all areas meaning this one won't last long at all. Avoid altogether.

Excerpt: Straight away, some of you may recognise the name "Alien Syndrome" as the name of the arcade game released by Sega way back in 1987. It wasn't anything impressive, but saw itself ported to numerous consoles in the late 80's and updated in 2004 for the PS2 with better graphics and updated controls.
Summary: Dont go near it - its rubbish and the review that states it has great graphics and gameplay is obviously a deluded crazy case. Take my advice and steer well clear - i wouldnt touch it with yours.
Summary: This game is so boring... You play with a top view of everything, I enjoy games that are viewed as if you are the player or even watching the player from in back of them but this game where you see everything as if you are an observer from the top... it SUCKS
Don't waste your money. There are far better games on the Wii than this.

Summary: This is the worst game I have ever played on any system including the Sinclair Spectrum I played as a child! If I was not forced to buy this with my Wii I never ever would have bought it. It cannot claim even mediocracy in any department, playability, graphics etc.
Summary: The graphics are rubbish, and the story behind the game is thin. it is a shame that SEGA managed a game as good as Sonic and the secret rings and then producing this was a real flop. I really would not get this game.
