  • Summary: Game wasn't near as good as the original one that came with the WII. I played it for 5 minutes and I'm done with it.

wacky bowling

Lisa A. Heath, Amazon

  • Summary: This is a great game! It's a little more challenging than Wii Sports Resort bowling. And, there's a few locations to bowl at-give your eyes a little change of scenery. There are also power-ups to make the game interesting; one example is the 'Earthquake"-makes the opponent's lane shake.

Quirky fun

The 9 "The 9", Amazon
6 April 2010
  • Summary: This isn't Wii Bowling. It's a lot more complicated and there even is a backstory. In AMBL, you are bowling to save Earth and other planets from an evil, Dark Queen. You bowl against humans, aliens and monsters in an effort to stop the Dark Queen from destroying planets. Weird? Yes. Fun? Yes. You start out as humans but the monster/alien characters are unlockable and there are bunch specific enhancements, like the Earthquake, which makes your opponents lane shake.

Not Wii resort bowling...

  • Summary: As much as I like Wii resort bowling, I decide to give this a spin. The 'strange character' competition does add a fun level to it, and they did fashion it much like modern games where you unlock features as you go. Graphics are quite nice and creative. My only complaint is that when you bowl the ball, it simply goes straight down the aisle unless you use the remote to 'steer' or 'maneuver' it along the way.
