Summary: I've given this 3 stars, because although its delivered great results, it has flaws (which sadly EA Sports 2 has not resolved). First the bad things (and the reason it gets 3 stars): The in game music is very poor to the point that I use my own music on my hi-fi. It really should have had an option to use your own music or more choice... maybe even something I've heard of.
Summary: I love the leg workouts. You WILL kick your own butt with this workout. As much as I was cursing for some of them to be over and done with, I saw results. I would have given this a 4 star but the problems I always encountered was the use of the Wii board and the remote. When I chose to use the board on certain days, the problem occurred during the sparring and kickboxing session.
Excerpt: "EA sports active is a game aimed at helping you loose weight and tone up through following the interactive exercises on the game. Don't worry if you did not own the previous one you do do not need it to be able to enjoy this one and in my opinion this one is much better then the original with more to do. Pros: Easy to use works if you stick at it
Cons: Sometimes does not respond to movements can be frustrating
Summary: I had great hopes for this game, I thought I could use it continue trying to get fit, but actually it isn't made for the very overweight or very unfit like me. The 6 weeks challenge focuses too much on muscle exercises, which are often too hard for the beginner, and not enough on cardio, which is what I need to lose weight. I feel after doing my 6 week challenge exercises I must go and do some cardio in order to keep the weight coming off.
Summary: This Wii sport game is ok but I find it very hard to do some of the exercises when I have to hold onto the wii remote and exercise band. I find that I don't get the proper form that I fight with the game. I think if people can figure out to do all exercises then it will be great. I also found that the stap that went around you leg doesn't stay on. I am not rail thin and the strap doesn't stay on, nor fights. the strap is not made for people with big thighs.
Summary: I bought this to enhance my current workouts using the free jogging on Wii Fit Plus - Game Only (Wii) for 30mins Monday, Wednesday & Friday and boxing on My Fitness Coach: Cardio Workout (Wii) for 18 mins Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday. Although using these software packages has left me (a 48 year old man) with a 28" waistline & 40" chest the repetative nature of the excercises does get a little tedious so the varied nature of the routines on EA More Workouts looked very...
