Excerpt: I have decades of working out at gyms under my weight belt. In fact in terms of years I have worked out just a little less than I have played video games. I know a few things about gyms, working out, exercise, and healthy living. So I was very excited to get to play EA Sports Active More Workouts. Family Friendly Gaming missed the original game, so we approached the sequel without a baseline knowledge.
Excerpt: Exercise games on the Wii have been commonplace since the system launched in late 2006, with choices like Wii Fit , Jillian Michaels Fitness , and even Gold's Gym Cardio Workout . So earlier this year, when EA announced that it was bringing out its own fitness program, many (myself included) were skeptical that the studio would be able to create a hit to stand apart from all of those other options.
Pros: you like the prospect of working out without the trouble of going out.
Cons: you want to be more juiced than a Jersey Shore cast member and more tone than a cinder block.
Summary: EA Sports Active: More Workouts provides new challenge and variety with over 35 new exercises to create unlimited combinations of customizable exercise routines that target the upper and lower body, as well as cardio.
