It's dead, Jim.

Sarah Tallent, Amazon
1 October 2012
  • Summary: The online forum was discontinued April 13, 2012. So, now you can't save your reports. And the arm tracker doesn't track, so you get stuck in the game with an exercise that you are doing but not getting credit for and it's a total dead end because there is no button to press to skip an exercise.

It pains me to say it

  • Summary: I used to be the world's biggest EA Active fan, so I bought this one right when it was released (not from amazon; don't blame them). What a disappointment! The games weren't as fun, and the heart monitor, always balky and clunky to begin with, simply quit working after about a month, so I paid the...

  • Summary: EA Sports Active 2.0 for the Wii has more bugs than can be counted. Having used EA Sports Active (1.0) for quite a while expected super interactive with the new wireless remotes. Totally disappointed.

An extremely defective product

Amazon Customer, Amazon
28 January 2011
  • Summary: I purchased this game over 2 months ago and immediately started the 9 week program. For the first 6 weeks things were going great. I liked the exercises, I started losing weight, and the problems that other people have stated (Wii remote turning off mid-exercise) were able to be overcome.

Don't waste your money!

Shelly, Amazon

  • Summary: I bought the "EA Active 2" game for my husband for Christmas. It is horrible! I am SO incredibly disappointed in it. First thing, it doesn't read when you're doing the armband exercises. It keeps telling you to "lower your arms".

Not worth the money - yet.

  • Summary: I own both the original EA Sports Active and EA Sports Active More Workouts and have been very happy with both (Wii versions). The original was a good start and More Workouts was a home run. So, I had high expectations when I purchased EA Sports Active 2 (Wii version). What a disappointment.

Would be an awesome workout if it worked

apanda, Amazon
28 January 2011
  • Summary: I used this game for about 10 minutes (maybe even less), and I was already breaking a sweat. It was very challenging and I loved it, but then the sensors stopped working and my character on screen wouldn't move which meant I couldn't move onto the next step of the workout EVER.

  • Summary: I too, like many others that have purchased this game has been fan of the series. I was little hesitant at first purchasing this one since the price was pretty high when it first came out. I waited a while until the price dropped and then purchased it.

Over-hyped and unreliable!

Liz Ess, Amazon
28 January 2011
  • Summary: A waste of money. It is slow (you have to wait for each exercise to load every few minutes), unresponsive (it sometimes shows your Mii doing kicks when you're just standing there and vice versa) and after 3 days one of the sensors stopped working, without which you cannot use any function of the...
