Summary: I have purchased 2 of these items now. Both times I have no communication between the sensors and the USB key. I even tested them all out on a friends Wii to make sure mine was not faulty. The problem is the game WILL NOT WORK without the USB key. ALSO the online communities and help were all cancelled by EA Sports within the first year of the product coming out! Not good. I had such high hopes for this product after my experiences with the previous versions.
Summary: The online forum was discontinued April 13, 2012. So, now you can't save your reports. And the arm tracker doesn't track, so you get stuck in the game with an exercise that you are doing but not getting credit for and it's a total dead end because there is no button to press to skip an exercise. I spent lots of time with my heart rate elevated yelling at the "personal trainer" that I am doing the darn exercise, can't you tell?!
Summary: I used this game for about 10 minutes (maybe even less), and I was already breaking a sweat. It was very challenging and I loved it, but then the sensors stopped working and my character on screen wouldn't move which meant I couldn't move onto the next step of the workout EVER. The game was a gift and I took a while to get around to setting it up so I was way beyond the return period by the time I started playing it, which means I got a very expensive 10 minute workout...
No se reconoce la memoria flash y actualmente esta retirado online
8 June 2012
Summary: Buy this product but I worked for nothing because the wii does not recognize the flash memory and can not access the game without this step because it is the basic step to use it. tried it on several devices disferntes wii and computer to see if he recognized any choice but it worked. I recommend not to buy it, look better choice, I leave part of the official poublicacion EASport: On April 13th 2012, EA will be shutting down the EA Sports Active 2 online servers.
Summary: This is sooo not worth the money! Yes it delivers a good workout WHEN you can get it to work...most of the time it is just telling you that you aren't doing it right because the remote won't connect to the game and the delays are so long that it isn't even worth trying to get working. The Biggest Loser workouts are so much better.
Summary: I'm not one to leave negative reviews, but I wanted to warn prospective buyers that this product isn't worth your time or money. Amazon did a wonderful job of accepting my return after I found the product was faulty (the USB didn't sense the peripherals). When I contacted the EA company they were unaware of the problem and could offer no assistance. However, they did have a full discussion page on their website devoted to this and other similar errors: [...] .
Summary: I bought EA Sports, Active 2 and I am very disappointed. Half the time it will stop in the middle of an a exercise and have to start over....such a hassle. It is always losing connection. I wouldn't recommend this program.
Summary: I was really excited to get this game. I loved the idea that I could connect with friends online and we could check in with each other. The reality is, this game doesn't work and the customer service reps are not helpful. First of all, the game freezes frequently and on the same exercises, triceps kickbacks, lunges and basketball defense. It may freeze on other exercises, but I returned this game before I could find out.
Summary: This was an impulse buy, I saw it at Target at a good price...well, now I know why it was so cheap. The first workout was great, the product worked perfectly. The second workout lasted 40 minutes, only 6 of those minutes actually exercising, the remaining time was spent trying to get the system to respond. Same thing with workout three. I'll move on to something else, this wasn't worth the time or money.
Summary: I had read the reviews for this workout game. I knew some (ok, a lot of people had trouble with this game) but I decided that I was going to be one of the ones that didn't have any trouble with it and purchased it. Ok, for three straight days, I got a great workout with a virtual personal trainer. I absolutley loved it. And then BANG! Just like other people who have rated it low, I was also a victim to the arm band and leg band sensor problem.
