Wii AC.DC

Charles Marlak, Amazon
7 April 2014
  • Summary: As always Amazon came through. On time, product was in excellent shape and very happy. Would recommend to anyone looking for Wii games. Since not sold in stores any more, Amazon is the first place I check for Woo games and excessaries...

Bite Sized Rockin'

Lawnmower Man, MobyGames
10 May 2010
  • Conclusion: Much like AC/DC's Fly On The Wall album, Rock Band AC/DC Live simply doesn't have enough content to satisfy. As an expansion pack, the game offers some good AC/DC songs (although this is far from a greatest hits collection).
  • Pros: AC/DC Live finally gives AC/DC fans the chance to rock out with some of their favorite AC/DC Songs. The game features such classics as Shook Me All Night Long, Highway To Hell, Back In Black, and other great songs. Also during some songs, before hitting the last note, the game will prompt players...
  • Cons: Much like tossing a polar bear a chicken nugget, AC/DC Live simply doesn't have enough content for those looking for a full gaming experience. The game only boasts of 18 songs total (no unlockable songs either) which are all performed live (creating an inferior sound quality). The career mode onl...

An absolute steal

Kalel11, Amazon
12 April 2009
  • Summary: We shouldn't be allowed to buy this game for under 10 bucks... seriously I mean it. It is completely playable on its own (without the other rock band games). The game features 18 of the best songs from the Kings of Dirty Deeds as performed at their now legendary Donington gig.

Best track pack out there

John R. Prince, Amazon
12 April 2009
  • Summary: I purchased this for my kids, however Dad enjoys playing Rock Band as well. ;-) We have four other track packs for Rock Band Wii, and this is by far the best. The sound quality of the others is severely lacking, and I was concerned that would be the case with this---especially with it being a live...

Works like a charm with Guitar Hero 3 guitar controller

Engineer, Amazon
12 April 2009
  • Summary: The sound track and guitar play is outstanding! We have a Guitar Hero guitar - I was concerned it wouldn't work with the Rock Band disc. Other reviews gave me confidence that it would, and it did - no glitches at all! Just sync the remote with the console. The game is a lot of fun to play.

Not enough songs

M.Q., Amazon
12 April 2009
  • Summary: One complaint: 1) there are only 18 songs. Other, more recent Guitar Hero/Rock Band games that honor one specific band (Metallica, The Beatles, Green Day) offer many more songs, making them more worthwhile purchases.

It worked with Guitar Hero guitar

B. Stenhouse, Amazon
12 April 2009
  • Summary: I was a little nervous that it would not work with my guitar hero "world tour" guitar -but there is no issue. The live music is great for the guitar, but not so great for the signing... Harder to hear and follow. But if you like AC/DC - its worth the cash.
