Summary: I got my rovio well over a year ago in a woot sale for 99$. I was pretty excited when it arrived but quickly found how bad this product is. BATTERY - you are lucky to get 30 minutes of use out of a full battery.
Summary: Wowwee discontinued making these several years ago, and no longer carries, warranties or services them. I had the misfortune of buying one, and found that the current batch are pre-defective refurbished devices. Wowwee offered to trade a "Joebot" - a toy with no camera, audio or remote anything.
Summary: My 10-year old son saved all of his birthday, etc. present money for around two years to purchase this device. I have been fighting with the Rovio for weeks now and still cannot get it to function reliably.
Robot may be decent (I can't say) - Tech Support and overall support terrible!

Summary: I received the Rovio as a gift and was very excited about it. It held great promise as a mobile webcam. I attempted to set up the unit following all of the instructions to the letter. I quickly found out that it was made ONLY for use with Windows XP.

Summary: We got this for our house because we thought it would be fun and interesting. The thing never worked because we could never get it to charge. After sending one back and getting another one we gave up and just got a refund. If you buy this you are looking for a headache!!
Summary: I was very excited the day the Rovio arrived. Then the horror began. 1) The battery holds a charge for only up to 10 minutes. 2) Not user friendly at all. 3) It's so hard to get the port forwarding to work (so that you can control it from an outside network, work) I've had network administrators not...
Summary: Having spent some time with Rovio, I can't recommend buying it. On the surface, its good fun, but with a whole bunch of problems below. First, the video quality on the unit is less than acceptable. I had to light up my living room like Christmas before I could actually see any of the video feed.
