Summary: Trust 16428 Spotlight Webcam Pro Simply doesn't work with the new Skype desktop versions (6.3) in Windows 8. In the box there is the Windows 8 Logo and is written skype compatible. It works in Windows 8 (installation with no drivers), but Skype desktop version (6.3) doesn't recognise it.

Summary: I have had this camera for over 6 months. And use it regularly with Skype. I run it on windows 7 64 bit and it works fine. Although the drivers are on the net. I loaded the drivers that came on the cd as it also included utilities. The camera is very small and light.
Summary: Static image quality is very good but (obviously) 1080p video is very choppy at very low frame rates. Would be fine for most things but the most annoying part of the design is the complete lack of any focus control which makes it useless for close-up work. I didn't test the sound quality.
Summary: If you attach this webcam to your laptop whilst having the computer on your lap, you will not be very happy! The webcam has a fixed zoom built in which cannot be adjusted, your face fills the WHOLE frame of the webcam!
