Summary: I bought this way back when it was $250. I wish I would have sprung the little extra for the DLink. But now I see it's only $120. Still borderline pricey for this clunky unit. Very difficult to get up and running. And VERY sluggish on the controls and video is sporadically laggy. I still use it a lot and deal with it, as I have a need for it and no money to upgrade. Bottom line- there are better so don't get this one.
Summary: [[Updated: 10/17/2011 After having used the camera for several years, it has since been replaced by Foscam FI8918W which is far better in value and features. Everything below is still true, but there are better options out there unless this camera is found for VERY cheap.]] I purchased this camera after having owned the TV-IP110W (an excellent camera for the price, also reviewed by me elsewhere.) I went into it expecting it to be a pan/tilt version of the same unit.
Summary: I bought this model camera a few years ago, and have just bought another. I'm not an IT person, but with the help of the Users Guide, and a very helpful tech support person, it's working well. The camera comes with a Quick Start Guide, but there is additional documentation available from the Trendnet web site - the Users Guide, FAQs and one on remote web access, all as pdf docs. It's worth taking the time to read everything and understand the steps to get it working.
Summary: I have never recieved the item and after several emails to the company, no one has bothered to reply to my emails, I think it is a bogus company and Amazon is fronting for them, Amazon has not helped me either. I have no trust in either. I am in the process of legal action and or criminal actions against both.
Summary: I had tried to get this to work, setting it up with my Mac. I was able to get it to speak with each other minimally, but it never went through the full setup. I tried calling customer service numerous times, no one would pick up. I finally got someone who told me that someone would call me back, and I never heard from them. They're most often closed when I call, or it goes to a message. It's sitting back in the box, useless. Don't buy this.
Not what I thought.....Still an average wireless camera

Summary: I bought this camera for the pan/tilt feature, but I found out that it does not work with well with Vista. I also thought the video would be as good as the TV-IP110W fixed wireless camera, but it is not. I am an IT guy and I have used several cameras and this is one of the worst I have ever used. I do wish Trendnet would get their act together and make a pan/tilt wireless with a high quality video sensor. Their other products are much better than this one.
Summary: This webcam works reliably for me and does what I bought it for, but the network setup was certainly challenging. To be fair it's the same situation with other similar internet camera products, but I would definitely not recommend that anyone new to networking take this on without expert help. The setup is complex, the manual is sketchy, and there are some bugs to overcome.
Summary: I ordered this camera because the product description stated that it allowed "users to access the camera anywhere in the world by using a Web browser." In my work, we are doing a lot of video, audio conferencing using packages such as NetMeeting, SharedView, Communicator and son on.
Summary: I bought one for my house 1 1/2 years ago so I could see my cat when I was out on business, then I bought another one 4 months ago to monitor the back entry and traffic area. I haven't had problems with them and setup was relatively simple, after following the instructions. I am a very detailed person and compared feature to feature, this product to similar D-Link and Linksys models. TRENDnet beats them on features and the price is 1/2 of that of D-Link.
