Summary: I dont blame the seller for this. I received this webcam and it would not work, I called Sabrent and they had no idea what to do about it. Sabrents customer service was terrible and I blame them for my problems. Again I do not blame or discredit the seller. I run Windows 7 and this should be compatible but it didnt work but maybe it will for you.
Summary: I think I should have spent more money it retrospect. It was a great buy at the price point, but the performance was sub-par at the best in the Video portion. The Audio worked very well, but picture quality made me wish I had purchased something else.
Summary: For the price this works well. It is a fuzzy picture, but we only use it for Skype with our families, so it does the job just fine. I wouldn't recommend it if you are using it for more important purposes like school or work.
Summary: The thing does work okay for me under Windows XP, although I have to restart once in a while to get it to wake up if it has been inactive. Other than that, let's go down the list of features you would expect from reading the product listing: 1) 6-LED Infrared: There are 6 LED's, but they are bright white, not infrared.
Summary: I bought one of these from Tech Geek. This cam does not have infrared capabilities. The 6 LEDs are actually blindingly bright white lights. When I finally got a response from Kinamax, they say thet the cam will work in the dark. Well, so will my other one if I hook a flashlight to it. Ok cam for the money, but working in the dark and infrared are two different things.
Summary: This thing is the best webcam I've had in a long time. Very quick even at high resolutions, great color and sharpness, UVP so no driver hassles. The built-in microphone that is accessed as a USB device (so no separate cable or audio card) is a big plus and works great. I tried the Agama V-2050AF a couple of days ago, and I'm taking it back and getting another one of these; the 2050 was horribly laggy even at 800x600.
