Summary: This really has a much higher resolution true to the 5.0 Megapixel and it runs great on very low light too. I'm fading out the use of a Logitech Cam on another of my PC's, they have gone downhill and when I can't uninstall a Logitech cam driver stuck in programs, I won't endorse their products any...
Pros: I own several of these, works very well as described.
Summary: I am using this to communicate over Google+ Hangout with my wife and kids while working 24hr shifts at fire station. It is great because the kids love seeing me before bedtime and they like being a little silly on camera. Would buy it all over again.
Pros: Easy to adjust positioning. Nice clear picture in average lighting. Linux Compatible. Great price. Feels pretty solid. Good Microphone. Simple wire mount.
Cons: No on/off switch. It would be nice to have a way to cut power to it without unplugging just for security.
Summary: It gets 3 stars because regardless of the pro's and cons, for 2009 when I purchased this it was a mediocore, bang for the buck type of camera, and its longevity is fine. But one egg off because the quality really wasn't good, and another egg off because this thing is still selling for 20$?
Pros: - Did the job - easy setup - drivers got it running in no time
Cons: - fair quality even for '09 not to shabby - very much lag - dim color and light/darkness
