Horrible Microphone

Tye, Staples
18 December 2012
  • Excerpt: The microphone sucked! Picked up EVERY background sound, so much so that I couldn't use it because the person on the other end of the call couldn't hear me.
  • Pros: Comfortable, Easy To Use
  • Cons: Poor Microphone

worst product I've ever bought!

joro67, Amazon
10 June 2012
  • Summary: This is one of the worst products that I have ever bought. It's very uncomfortable to wear and you can barely hear anything from the speakers. I feel this may have been designed for a child because of the size of the headpiece that is not adjustable. If you have an average size head do not buy this product!

Horrible quality, Microsoft takes your money - delivers nothing

Early adopter, Amazon
4 June 2012
  • Summary: The microphone simply does not work, even my built-on mike from 10 feet away works better that this Microsoft product. Adjusting the position of the mike is completely inconvenient adn not quite possible, to be honest. Waste of money, do NOT recommend to anyone.

Pinches Ears

Z. Boatright, Amazon
13 May 2012
  • Summary: Look at the picture of this headset very carefully. Note that the molded plastic that wraps around your ear from the head phones appears to have a VERY narrow opening. This results in the plastic frame pinching you as it wraps around your ears. The pain becomes more noticeable the longer you wear them. Additionally, the wrap-around plastic piece has numerous design flaws that result in other painful experiences while wearing the product.

Not worth the price

kristine clarey "Kris", Amazon
17 April 2012
  • Summary: My voice sounds tinny with the black foam piece on it. I keep having to repeat myself because no one can hear me. I also have to hold the microphone up because it doesn't stay in place. Not worth the price. Do not recommend.

Lacking Description

Jonathan Wood, Amazon
1 September 2011
  • Summary: Although the title was (apparently) changed to no longer claim it was USB, it certainly doesn't say it was analog only. The photo doesn't even show the part that plugs into the computer. There is no way to tell from the photo or description what this product is. Only USB will serve my purposes and so now I'm stuck seeing if I can go through the hassle of mailing a return. Wish I'd have just bought it at a local store. This would be over already.
