    The Microsoft LifeCam VX-5500 is a great mobile or desktop webcam that has good picture quality. Many webcams will not work well in lowlight but the VX-5500 works well in many lighting situations. With excellent video software and many features, the Microsoft LifeCam VX-5500 is a great product for webcam activities. The LifeCam is user friendly and priced nicely and is a good pick for users who are ready for a good webcam. Read more

    Much like its predecessor the VX-5000, the VX-5500 is an excellent webcam which produces almost perfect audio and video steams. Our only caveat would be that an extra light source might be needed in a dark room. Read more

    this webcam is a great buy if like me, all you want is to video chat with your family and friends, but you don't care if it's an HD picture. the microphone does pick up some background sound though. my friend sometimes complain they can hear others talking. Read more
