Summary: 3 stars.. This cam does not work very well on my two PC's. Win7. For some reason I get a error with it's drivers. I have three pc's and tryd it on them all. Same thing. It's a pain. I will not waste my time in the future. I will buy other brands. But it came in the mail as said. That part was fine.
Summary: Conflicts with software, always. You have to use there their software. I don't use Live, Internet Explorer, or Outlook. This was a waste of money. Microsoft is the bully on the block, if, you don't use their bat and ball you can't call Home. E.T. HELP.
Summary: We had another for nearly 2 years and all of a sudden the microphone stopped working. Still haven't an answer for it. Another thing was when I comparing prices your website showed model # Q2F-00013. When I went to the store they only had Q2F-00001.
Summary: IF you are doing Skype, DO NOT put in the software that comes with it. I read all of the documentation and installed software, then I find out that can't do Skype with it. I've been on the phone with Microsoft at least 6 times and they have not figured out how to get everything off of my computer.
Summary: As noted by others, this webcam is not really 1080p with the built in software. You can take a photo at that resolution but video isn't possible. Even at 720p, the quality isn't that great as the picture tends to be jumpy.
Summary: This cam is only 1080p with software that must be purchased. i purchased this webcam years ago and use it a few times a year, it has great 720p quality, but do not purchase if you expect 1080p, its 1080p capable, but not 1080p right out of the box
