Good image, software so-so

Summary: Yes, that horrible "autofocus issue" doesn't seem to ever get fixed by Microsoft. On my old Windows XP, at least there was a checkbox to disable the autofocus but I cant find it anymore on Windows 7. The camera has a very good image and looks nice. Works for any kind of computer desktops or laptops. Testest on a Lenovo desktop and a Macbook pro.
Great compact affordable near stealth security web camera!

Summary: This is the most compact USB Web camera I can find. It's almost completely black and with a few tweaks you can make it totally black. If they could make this 1/4 the size then it would be more easily concealed. I would choose miniaturization over higher definition for the next generation model while keeping the same features.
Summary: The software on the CD that came with the camera installed, but took a few tries and computer restarts before it did. Software downloaded from the Microsoft did not work at all as it complained about failing to meet the system requirements, without specifying which requirement my system, which far exceeds the requirements, failed to meet. Once installed, the Microsoft LifeCam user software refused to recognize the camera at all.
Summary: The only reason I didn't return this cam was because I bought it at a very cheap price. Right after I bought it amazon changed the price to almost double. The camera runs out of focus constantly at every light condition, even if I don't move. Quality is not so great either. I don't know how they say it's HD, but I can definitely see my picture pixelated. I'm not much of a heavy webcam user. I just use it couple of times a month to chat with family.
Summary: I bought it because its HD. Overall Cam is good. But the package was fully damaged even it has mention new (other). anyway I like the cam expect it is only for laptop and it has auto focus issue. its always focusing out and focusing back if keep auto focus on. other than that I like the size and overall look. and the colors & quality.
Summary: Compact cam with clip for mounting on Notebook only, not applicable to attachment to LCD Monitors without making custom adjustment. Pros: nice defination compared to other cam in same dollar range. Clarity seemed fine but I'm not sure it is 720p quality. Con: Cord is too short for PC, but ok for laptop. Auto Focus keeps on adjusting while viewing cam, stops if you don't nove. Also there is no off preference for the auto focus.
Summary: Great compact HD camera. Bad: Continous Auto-Focusing sucks. Always need laptop screen to clip it. Would have been better if there was an optional base to place it on flat surface. Good: Price for the compact HD web camera. Light weight and compact. Great video quality.
Summary: It has good resolution but it's autofocus is messed up. It starts adjusting it self each 30 -60 seconds. I have not found how to disable it. As always software that came in the package with it leaves more to desire. In my case it basically works for my occasional communication needs but if I had to use it for day to day business needs I would replace it.
Summary: I bought this camera for my sister so we could skype. I thought the auto focus would be a nice feature but it turns out that it is always trying to adjust itself. It gets really annoying to see her go in and out of focus all the time. A brighter lit room did help this problem a little bit but it still happened. The video quality is great for the price and I helped my sister walk through the installation in just about 10 minutes.
