Summary: I tested this product; nice interface/applet/driver that Microsoft develop for it; you'll have to download it from Microsoft website, it doesn't come in the box. Nice presentation. The video is similar to Logitech c720p; it is easy to use; video and still picture quality is decent; the driver offers a lot of options to control ( exposure, brightness, contrast, etc.
Summary: It keeps adjusting focus one no one is in front of camera and the auto focus is enabled, a little bit annoying. Also the cord is too short. Further, the clip is only good on top of laptop, I have no way to clip it on my lcd monitor screen.
Summary: I bought this product to use in our shop for taking pictures of items people bring in when we do a loan. It is a good little device for that, it is quick focusing and easy to set up. We bought a higher definition camera than this one, but it takes a long time to focus, so we are sticking to these, we use three! The only thing I would change is the length of the USB cord, it is good for the average user but I had to buy extensions for my use.
Summary: This is probably the best HD camera you can currently get for this price. The only thing I don't like is that cable is too short. Since I use it for desktop computer, extension USB cable was required in my case.
Summary: Works exactly as advertised and easy to set up. Only thing to be aware of is that the "clamp" is only wide enough to fit on a laptop computer and probably won't fit most standard full size monitors.
