The Microsoft LifeCam HD-5000 is a webcame that supports True 720p HD video recording, auto focus function and TrueColor Technology. The webcam is covered by a 3-year limited hardware warranty. It is optimized for Windows Live Messenger and works with Yahoo! Messenger, AOL Instant Messenger and Skype. The webcam also comes bundled with Windows Live Movie Maker that helps users edit their movie recording and upload to social networking sites, Windows Live Photo Gallery that lets users upload a photo that they can edit, tag, and share with friends and family, and Windows Live™ Call Button that lets users see who’s online via a touch of a button and engage in video call. The Microsoft LifeCam HD-5000 is compatible with a PC with Windows® 7, Windows Vista®, Windows XP with Service Pack 2 (SP2) or higher (Excluding Windows XP 64-bit) and requires a minimum specification system with Intel Dual-Core 1.6 GHz or higher, 1 GB of RAM; 1.5 GB free hard drive space, CD-ROM optical drive, USB 2.0 interface and Windows-compatible speakers or headphones.

Features

The True 720p sensor records true HD-quality video at up to 30 frames per second, and the auto focus feature helps users keep their images sharp and detailed, even when they zoom in. The webcam also supports 16:9 widescreen output for cinematic video recording, and TrueColor Technology that automatically controls exposure.
