Summary: No installations needed. You just need to plug in the USB cord into your computer/laptop . Although, if this had a CD program for the webcam like Logitech or Dell, it could've been better. I had to constantly search for a free webcam which wasted a bit of my time. Eventually I found a program I use is called "Debut". There's no trial and it's free.
Summary: The video quality is good. Audio pick is good. No one on the other end of my calls has complained. Driver install on Windows 7 64-bit was a bit finicky and had to be redone after unplugging and reconnecting to a different USB port which seemed silly. The Mount is rather sad. Simple, yes. It does not rotate side to side so you have to move yourself to the center of frame. It falls off my monitor with even a little bump.
Summary: I've been using this as my main webcam for a while now with my Windows 7 desktop and skype. So far I have had 0 problems. Super easy to use I didn't have to do any crazy installing or anything. Microsoft keeps it updated automatically. The way the base is designed is really nice. Still works perfectly after having it about a year and a half. The person I usually videochat with doesn't like the picture quality but he's a snob, I think it's more then fine.
Summary: This little Cam works great. Usually this sits on top of my desktop monitor and gives me a much better picture than the camera that come with my laptop, so I now use my desktop for face-to-face communication. It's so small, it's practically invisible and blends in as little more than a bump on the top of my monitor. Great buy, bargain price.
