very annoying high pitched noise when the mic and video were both used
15 February 2015
Summary: The camera itself is pretty good but I encountered a problem when trying to use the mic and video at the same time. I was talking on Skype and people said they could hear a very annoying high pitched noise when the mic and video were both used.
Summary: When I unboxed it I was surprised at how small it is: about 2.5" long. The "foot" part flexes, so you can bend the T part back and it perches very nicely on top of my monitor. The microphone is...
Summary: This camera didnt wow me but it didnt disappoint me either. I would say its very middle of the road. If I were doing video blogging or that type thing I would probably look else where. Not a bad camera for the price
Summary: Gives a lot of headaches, the software it comes with doesn't work on Windows 8, doesn't even use the 720p HD quality, and gave me a load of other problems. I followed tutorials on which program to use it with to get the 720p HD, but they did not work and ran at 15 FPS.
Summary: The webcam itself is nice but installing the software is a pain. I have no time to find the right software on Microsoft. If they want me to use this product they need to make it easier for me. I don't want to download a package which may contain programs I don't want.
Excerpt: I use the web cam on my 52" Samsung Plasma TV through my home theater laptop. The picture quality appears to be on par with other cams I have used and the feedback I recieve from others say the quality is good. Keep in mind this has been used only with SKYPE and has not be tested extensivly by me.
Pros: Easy To Set Up, Fast Connection, Sharp Image
