Excerpt: The LifeCam Cinema is an excellent video camera for tasks such as videoconferencing. The color detail, sharpness and auto-light control are all excellent for a camera in this class. The base is also easily maneuverable for various installation locations. We've been very satisfied with the performance overall and cannot find any major drawbacks.
Pros: Easy To Set Up, Fast Connection, Good In Low Light, Sharp Image
Summary: It doesn't work on Windows 8.1. Solution, reinstall Windows 8. :D. Or cry deeply and try to get Microsoft Support to give you a work-around that will never actually work, get transferred through a bunch of departments that have no idea what they're doing, and cry more. I prefer the easy solution.
Summary: The stand: When I first received this product, i was worried that it might not be stable atop my monitor. That was not true. The rubbery grip at the bottom was very stable and it easily adjusts for monitors with different thicknesses. The Camera: I use this camera primarily for the skype video chat. The pictures are sharp and very crisp, and because it's in 720P, everything was clear.
