Summary: I just received two of these, and they don't work. When I try to set one up, it connects to my wireless router and then gets stuck at "Testing Internet connection". This is apparently a longstanding issues, with lots of posts on the Logitech forum about it: <[...]>. There is no apparent solution, and a call to their tech support line was complete unhelpful. I would stay away from this product.
Summary: Not as advertised - you cannot hear people well if they are more than 2 metres away from the TV. Whenever one person is talking the "noise cancellation" function mutes the other. Most rudimentary noice cancellation ever, ruins the whole experience. Bonus: you cannot see people using this if you use skype on Android.
Summary: Connected it to new 60" vizio tv worked once then nothing. Have reset and unlpugged numerous times tried different HDMI ports. Logitech says it works on all tvs with HDMI, si I guess thats $125.oo down the toilet
Summary: Don't buy this if you want something you can leave with an elderly or technophobic friend or relative and be able to skype them or have them skype you. You really need someone technical available to be able to deal with the frequent resets and setting up. In theory this is a useful product. But it frequently forgets the skype password (apparently when the tv it's connected to is reset or switched off).
Summary: My rating is not for the camera but the advertising. The camera may be fine. I cannot judge it s performance. There should be a warning on all similar sites that NO Skype camera is compatible with Vizio smart TVs except the proprietary Vizio camera which, BTW, is no longer avalable from Vizio and can only be rarely found at a third pary website. Even these are disappearing fast.
