Summary: I bought this for my elderly parents because they don’t have a computer. They had constant problems with the device. 1.The battery in the remote keeps losing connection and needed frequent re-inserting. 2.The camera has to be rebooted at least once a month. It would freeze. 3. The device loses the network connection and takes a long time to reconnect. I had it on both wired and wireless settings but the problems persisted.
Summary: This really works, but, you have to realize that by putting it on the TV; you are quiet far from the mounted camera. Unless you move yourself really close to your TV screen, most people are 6-7 feet away from their screen, and thus, that's how you will show up in the camera. Not a deal breaker. Setup was easy, camera quality is great. Would buy again.
Summary: Pros: easy setup, portability, solidity, reasonable performance with different light conditions Cons: insufficient wide angle, very slow zoom and direction control, insufficient range of adjustment The drawbacks outweigh the good points for me, with this camera. When I bought it I was hoping it would be able to generate a view of maybe 12' at a distance of ~8', in other words, that it could show the full room where the TV is located.
This camera is simply terrible. It is not advertised correctly in my opinion

Summary: This is a PERFECT item for communicating with older family members. This is the second one I purchased and I haven't had a bit of trouble. I have purchased a separate monitor in each case and I have it on auto answer video/audio. When we call we have the camera focused on a chair that is in a quiet part of the main room and we just call out there name and they come to the chair.
Summary: Unfortunately this tv web cam did not work on my tv. Logitech should really provide a list of actual tv which will work for this particular product. We all can't go with a description "works with most skype enabled hd tv's " my tv was just that and it didn't work (plug it in, I see red light on cam, but nothing happens on tv). Good thing I was able to return it.
My family has enjoyed many hours communicating with each other using this Logitech ...

Summary: Setup wasn't too difficult. I connected the included HDMI cable and power cord then follow the setup guide instructions and screen prompts. It took several minutes for our router and TV to establish initial communication with the Logitech TV Cam and our pre-established SKYPE account. My family has enjoyed many hours communicating with each other using this Logitech TV Cam these past nine months. My only complaint is that my daughter doesn't call often enough.
Summary: The set up was very easy and the TV Cam works well with Skype as it is supposed to be. One of the best parts of the equipment is its remote, which is simple to use and very functional. The product has an automatic voltage selector and so could be used across the globe although the plug supplied was for United States of America. The box did not contain any user documentation either and so I had to download these from logitech.com.
Summary: We bought this when we became grandparents, and bought one for the kids. It works flawlessly and is easy to set up (5 minutes!) The picture quality is fantastic and it really has excellent sound quality. I dinged one star because it will only register with one account at the time. This was a bit disappointing because I have one account and my partner has a separate account which makes sense since we both use Skype on our phones and tablets.

Summary: This is amazing! Got one for me and my sister across the country. Picture quality is excellent as well as the sound. It's so much better to sit comfortably on your couch and be able to see everyone in a room without having to crowd around a computer or tablet. There may be an occasional drop or drag, but that's the internet service or modem, not the camera. I have DSL and it works very well with it. All in all, we're extremely happy with it!
