Summary: it doesnt work... need i say more? I bought it because someone suggested it but after installation it will work for 3 minutes then goes black. asked my friend from itt tech and he said it was luckily just the camera and not my computer. a waste of $10 though
Summary: This is the worst video camera i have ever seen. seriously, it is just horrible. the picture is so grainy that even on highest settings, you can't make out anything. The software is okay, but it doesn't help overcome the lousy quality of the equipment even with settings changes.
Summary: Poor video quality. That's the most important thing in a webcam (in my opinion) and since this sucks at that, I'm giving it only 1 star. Plus, it doesn't attach very securly to the top of my flat screen monitor. It just kinda sits there. Hate this webcam!!
Summary: The software was very quick and easy to install, it probably took no longer than 5 minutes. I was very disappointed in the quality of the video, however. It was so grainy and at first I thought that maybe my settings were off but everything was set at the highest resolution.
Summary: I'd do a video review if I could get it to work properly. This thing is run by software that hasn't been updated since 1998! How do these people expect a G4 Mac using OS X Tiger to run something that was designed for System 8? Logitech ought to be embarrassed to be selling junk like this.
Summary: I bought this camera because it was advertised to be Mac compatible. Unfortunately, it only works with Mac OS 9 and below, which haven't been produced since 2002 or so. Also, the design of the camera is such that you have to place it at eye level (it doesn't pivot up enough) and yet there's no way...
Summary: The picture quality was grainy and the video jerky, the camera mount to the stand was loose so the camera wobbled, the software was buggy. I switched for their Notebook Pro and find it acceptable.
Summary: Although Logitech advertises in their web site and in the product packaging that this camera works with Mac OS X, the "support" is useless. They bundle a driver from IOXPerts, which does not control the white balance (the picture is blue or green) and the exposure (the image is almost black)...
