Summary: bought this I don't know how long ago, and just came across it in my "review this purchase" list while going through a bunch of others. this cam was awesome until Logitech decided to stop supporting it... somewhere around Vista. I never ran Vista. Don't know anybody who did and survived to tell the tale. However, Logitech's official answer was "download and install blah blah drivers, then go here and do this until you get that. it should work.
Summary: Does the job. I have mounted this on a boom, to do remote viewing, in my case of hard-to-access roof and gutters. Still working on a better way to mount this on my boom than the 2-link clip on the base one sees in the photo.
Summary: Its a good cam for the price. Sound quality is ok, nothing special. The headset is ok, except doesnt fit on a kids head to well. The headset mic is a little iffy, doesnt pick up your voice well at all. I'd recommend for a first time cam with a built in mic but nothing more.
Summary: This was just what I was looking for. It works well, the software is more than expected, I used the camera ball on my desktop and it has it's own microphone built in so I used the headset on my travel laptop. I got two pieces of equipment to use on two different computers for the price of one! I like it!
Summary: Really a great little web cam and you can move it around or just place it on top of your screen. The mono-ear bud is great if you have to keep an ear on the kids. I would highly recommend this set.
