Summary: We got a new plasma at the end of 2012, great deal 60" Viera for $700, and wanted to have Skype since the TV connects to the internet and had the app. The Panasonic cam was very hard to find and very expensive. I had read another review and said it worked with their Panasonic, so I gave it a try. And it does. So if you want to add this to your Panasonic TV, rest assured it works on 2012 and up models.
Summary: Works for my windows 8, but quality is not as good as I hoped. But it is a webcam, and compared to the webcam that is for laptops (that looks just like this on amazon) it is just slightly less quality, but less than half the price.
Summary: The camera itself produces very good quality video and sound is captured well. I wish the ability to zoom was accessible from the TV's remote during a call but it isn't; one can only adjust it inside of the camera settings section of Skype. The important thing is that this camera works with my Panasonic TC-L50E60 (and the Costco counterpart TC-50LE64). Completely plug and play.
Summary: I bought this item for work to use for web conferencing. It is user friendly, quick and easy connection. Because I use it in several different conference rooms the size is just right. The adjustable stand is a great feature. I would have like that the connection to the computer were a bit longer as sometimes it doesn't quite make it. Overall, great purchase!
Summary: I really like this camera. High definition and a wide spectrum of coverage. However, be advise is just for Google TV equipment. I tried to install it in my PC and is not compatible with it. Works great in my Logitech Google TV box.
Summary: The HDTV Cam is a great accessory for the Revue. - The picture/video quality is very good. The lighting in my room is mediocre, and yet the picture still comes out looking significantly better than with the web cams built into the MacBook and ThinkPad which I use in the same room. - Build quality is excellent. This is something apparent from when you take the camera out of the box.
Summary: I bought this webcam a couple of days ago and installed it on my ibook G4. The pictures are fine when considering its price, $32 on surplus computer! With quickcapture, the max size of video can reach 640*480. Speaking of webcam, I must say something about video conference between PC and MAc systems. People living in PC words usually use MSN, however, the mac version of MSN doesn't support video and audio chats. So I use SightSpeed(it is free!
