Summary: I switched from PC to Mac with Windows 7 running as a guest operating system a few months ago. Before making the switch, it was important to me that I knew the webcam I had would work well on the Mac side since I teach biology online and use the webcam and the online classroom's webcam function to do the dissection walk-throughs. The original Logitech auto-focus webcam I had was reported by the manufacturer as being compatible.
Summary: I got this cam for my MacBook Pro because the built-in iSight sucks. I am an adult webcam model so I needed something with a lot better quality after receiving many complaints about the iSight from my clients. I use this camera 5 days a week if not more, and the quality is excellent. It took me a long time to find a Mac comaptible high-quality camera.
Summary: This worked plug and play with my OS X home made build. Works with all software - Skype, Gchat, etc. People I have chatted with have told me the image is sharp, the mic is great for calls and installation was a breeze.

Summary: We originally bought this for Skype but now I use it to talk to people on Google voice from my computer (you go into google voice settings and tell it to use this for the mic) It's an amazing picture quality. Everyone I talk to on Skype tells me how awesome it looks. Best webcam I have ever bought! And i've purchase 3 before for windows.
Summary: Simple, simple, simple. This is a true plug and play. The camera worked right out of the box. Has been in use for over a month now and not a single exception to note. Video and audio quality is excellent.
Summary: This webcam was easy to set up and works great on all of the video conferencing applications I've tried on my Mac, which include Skype, FaceTime, and iChat. It mounts easily on the top of my monitor, which is a 37" HDTV. The sound quality on the microphone is also quite good. The only thing that was not quite what I expected is that the lense is wider angle than I was used to, but that is very minor, and even had I known that, I'd have still purchased it.
Pros: Easy To Set Up, Good In Low Light, Sharp Image
Summary: as it claims it is plug and play compatible with ichat, skype, facetime for mac (BETA), and quicktime. the mic picks up sound wonderfully and the video is great on a good connection speed. automatically switches from streaming HD out is the connection slows or is slow and will kick back onto HD broadcast when capable.
Summary: I'm a Multimedia Artist/Musician. For years I've been building my home studio for graphic design & audio recording centered around a Macintosh Quicksilver system which doesn't have the built in camera that the newer Mac's have. I don't know why I put off adding a webcam for so long. Probably because they used to be pretty crummy.
Pros: Easy To Set Up, Fast Connection, Good In Low Light, Great Extra Features, Sharp Image
