Pros: It worked for 24 hours.
Cons: For the first 24 hours the webcam worked perfectly. After that, for whatever reason, it now is absolutely terrible. There is huge visual distortion, massive vertical scanlines, grainy image, and terrible quality in general. I looked for support on the Logitech forums. Their suggestion? Return it!...
Summary: First product I've purchased in a long time that I could not recommend. I seem to be the odd ball out, looking at the other reviews here though. It's going into the trash as soon as I get another brand.
Pros: Okay when it works.
Cons: I got two bad units in a row. If I wiggle the usb wire at the camera, the camera and mic disconnect (ie, simply adjusting the camera while perched on the LCD). When sitting still, the camera restarts every 45-90 seconds with Skype.
Summary: Look for a different camera model. It is not worth the revision gamble... even at the Shell Shocker price I paid.
Pros: Nice size. Compact driver files.
Cons: Logitech fails to mention they made 4 PCB revisions with the same exact part number. Of course I got stuck with an early revision that cannot accomplish more than 5fps at 720p or above. 640x480 is the only resolution that can supports 30fps on this camera.
If you want to use with Windows 7 64 bit and Skype, be prepared for continuous system recovery

Summary: This camera proclaims to be compatible with Windows 7 64 bit and Skype. Rubbish. The installation disk that come with it hangs half way through installation and you end up having to reboot - only to find you go into an endless loop of Windows 7 startup recovery.
Summary: The title says it all. I have Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit operating system running on an Intel i7 920 processor. Logitech's camera software will not install correctly. You can't get a picture at all. I spent over an hour on the phone with Logitech Support and also corresponded via emails.

Summary: Good luck to you on your purchase. I have had some great deals with refurbished products but this was not one of those time.
Pros: It had a lot going for it.
Cons: It was refurbished and something was wrong. If I had to guess which I am I would say the lenses were not aligned correctly. I contacted Logitech and was on the phone for over an hour. I gave up and found another Logitech QuickCam Pro 9000 in the area to make sure it was not my computer. $85 later...
Summary: I have spent hours trying to troubleshoot this and it simply cannot get it to work with windows 7 64bit. No matter what, whenever you try use the webcam you'll get an error saying "Cannot connect" or "in use by another application.".
