Summary: When I use it, this works perfectly. I discovered that maybe seeing me while talking was not always a good idea, so I also use the "blinders" from time to time and say the remote picture isn't working.
Summary: these Logitech orbit cameras are top of the line I had the program so I dint need that got it used said it worked fine camera clicks and pops sounds like the gears in orbital cam are bad its blurry but works good enough for a used cam shipping was timely
Summary: still cannot get it to work or get it moving, the motorized tracking or face tracking isn't working....the driver or software available on logitech website is not much of a help to get it moving... im on windows 7 home premium, 12 gb ram, with 2 gb nvidia graphics on asus 75vw... any help you can offer, please do...appreciate it much.....
Summary: Perhaps science fiction has set the bar too high, but this purchase didn't do much for me. First off, the files created/used by this thing are really clumsy. There are tech-savvy reviews that will give you the details, but the end result for the user is a slow refresh rate and picture degradation. Another thing is that its 'follow' feature didn't work for me.
Summary: I love the POV on this thing. Using basic POV api calls you can easly write third party software to control the device. I made a html document that allows a remote user to operate the pov and zoom abilities of the camera. The devices works great with windows 7. Just make sure you have all the current windows updates. Don't expect any help from Logitech if you contact them they will pretend they never made the device.
Summary: Shortly after I got this as a gift, which cost $130.00 at the time, the pan and tilt stopped working. Then I saw that many other users pan and tilt never worked. Now that I have Windows 7, I found out that Logitech never bothered to update the drivers from XP to Windows 7. Windows 7 automatically installed a basic webcam driver, but I found out the hard way that there is no audio driver support.
