Excerpt: I should also say that the sound quality is actually pretty good and the built-in microphone does a sound job (no pun intended!). Overall I would award this camera a score of 7 out of 10. It is nice looking and reasonably well built, and transmits decent footage and sound. Yes, the resolution is not the best but the way I see it, if you would like something more powerful then you will have to pay more for it. It’s that simple.
Logitech Quickcam E 3500: High resolution web camera with built-in microphone
2 September 2010
Summary: Since I am an overseas student from Indonesia, I need a good web camera that can support my video conference with my family in Indonesia. Since the internet connection on Indonesia is not to good, the average speed of the real internet connection in Indonesia is just 100kbps, so I need a camera that can give me good resolution. This camera has provide me with a quality that I need on a video camera, that is high resolution graphics.
Pros: High resolution, built in camera, easy to carry
Excerpt: "I'd wanted to be able to record video reviews and upload stuff to Youtube for a while so I finally gave in and went looking for a USB webcam. After reading lots of recommendations I finally settled on this beastie from Logitech. It was much smaller than I expected it to be and was super easy to set up (just a matter of reading the instructions and following them as stated) and very easy to use, only complaint is it only saves in WMV format. I understand ...
Pros: easy to use, looks stylish
Cons: update can screw up audio, updater file can crash PC
Hello to the world with this Logitech Quickcam E 3500

Excerpt: "...to the world with this Logitech Quickcam E 3500 Simple, easy and good are three words in which I can describe this webcam from Logitech. Since a while now I had a webcam and I think this is actually my second one. The first one broke after a few years of usage and since I love talking to friends over the internet I had of course get my self a new one. I have this webcam for quite some while now and it never let me down since the moment I bought it. ...
Pros: Easy to install and adjust settings, good image
Summary: Seen as though I bought a new system i thought it would be relevant to upgrade my webcam. My first impression was that I was impressed with the quality and comparing it to my old web cam it was far better quality for example the pixels were much better meaning the picture produced was of a lot higher quality. The webcam itself comes with a number of so called "fun" extras for those rainy days, it allows you a fish eye. Neon, negative and a 50s style etc etc.
Excerpt: "...give both the webcam and Logitech generally a review here. Firstly the webcam. I have no complaints, and only positive things to say about it, good value for money, inegrates seamlessly with skype, and takes but a minute to install (just remember to install the software before plugging the webcam in); if I remember correctly, it didn't even require a reboot. The picture quality is far better than my previous webcam, and the limit of video-call quality ...
Pros: High quality; better than normal ADSL can handle, seamless Skype integration, Logitech are great .

Summary: With the integrated webcam on my laptop lid having just died, I was in the market for a webcam, and when I saw that WHSmiths were selling this for a shade under £10, I thought i mite as well give it a go. Installation of the webcam is very easy - I didn't even have to install the 3rd party software - Windows detected it immediately, and I was able to set it up with instant messaging services such as MSN in a matter of seconds.
Pros: Price, Looks, Ease of Installation
Cons: Image quality isn't the best, but given its price it is much better than expected
Summary: I have always used logitech where ever i can. They are known for their reliability, quality and customer support all of which matter when choosing the right make. Now the build quality is very impressive. Everything is firmly attached and i know from experience it can take being thrown around a bit if that's anything to go by with the build quality.
Summary: This is a fabulous buy. At such a cheap price its such a great deal. If you havn't used a webcam before you really are in for a treat, its amazing that you can see and speak with people the other side of the world, and there is no delay. Its very easy to install by plugging it in a USB port, a very easy to install disk. Its ready to use in no time. The camera is a great size, great colours can be seen, and sound is perfect.
Pros: simple, does the job and affordable
Cons: Picture not amazing compared to more expensive cameras
Summary: In December 2008, Swiss company Logitech produced its one billionth mouse. Quite a milestone for any company. Now we're all aware of Logitech's reputation in hand-held pointer devices, but how does it fair when it comes to webcams? The Quickcam E 3500 sits at the lower end of the company's product line, being affordable (I purchased this for around £15 at a well known retail outlet) but adequate.
