Summary: For the most part this thing worked and with good picture quality. Every once n awhile it would go out. Not sure what the problem is. I now have a new laptop with one built in so don't use this one anymore. But if you have a tower it is good.
Summary: I didn't want to break the bank just to be able to Skype with family so I tried this little guy. It did just fine, easy setup, convenient clip and size. I give it 4 instead of 5 stars because the software it comes with would often compete with the Skype software and I had to force it to switch over...
Summary: Works great but... If you are using Vista, DO NOT use the install CD. Instead, go to the Logitech site and download the install for Vista. I used the CD and got into an infinite loop of it trying to install and never completing.
Summary: Easy to set up and use. I have used this webcam under adverse conditions (tent camp on a military post) and it seemed to work fine. It was easy to set up and use and was a good value for the cost.
Summary: Works very well on KUbuntu 8.04 with the UVC driver is installed. No extra steps had to be performed to install this driver. Testing to see if the camera works can be done with the luvcview utility that is available in the Ubuntu repository.
Summary: The cam doesn't stay clipped to my laptop very well, but the picture quality is pretty good. The next laptop i buy will def have a built in cam because traveling with this (even with the provided case) in a hassle as well.
