Summary: The item was as listed, it was a gift for a friend. After some uses I realized the sound quality was pretty good however the actual video quality was no so great. It seemed pixelated, but could still see the person on the other end. Would I recommend this? Yes, if you are looking for something cheap, No, because the video quality was so bad. Perhaps it was their computer that made the bad quality I cannot know for sure.
Summary: THIS PRODUCT DOE NOT WORK ON MY WINDOWS VISTA 64 BIT AND LOGITECH IS NOT COMING OUT WITH A DRIVER FOR IT BE CAREFUL CHECK COMPATIBILITY. ALSO PRODUCT HAS A VERY SHORT CABLE OTHER THAN THAT THE PRODUCT SEEMED LIKE IT WOULD BE GOOD FOR A LAPTOP
Summary: I wanted a cheap little camera to skype with. It's a pretty good camera for the money. I got it cheap and it suits my purpose. One thing I don't like about it you have to manually focus it. Just turn the dial to get it to focus. Another thing is it doesn't clip on my desktop monitor that good. Software that comes with it has some bells and whistles that are nice. But it works good for the money. Definately not a high end video camera. But I'm pleased with my purchase.
Camera part very good....Clip is horrible and doesnt work....

Summary: As a Skype user I wanted to be able to use it along with video on my Toshiba 13" laptop when travelling. I have a Logitech camera for my desktop so decided to purchase one suitable for my laptop also. Easy, just clip it to the screen and plug it in. Well, the camera functions just fine except it keeps falling off the screen. Luckily I'm a fairly DIY kind of person so was able to "jury rig" a working fix using a thick sticky pad. My advice to Logitech...
Summary: Good camera. Background lighting still seems to be an issue, even though this camera has a built in function called "right light". I think its predecessor for $30 is probably every bit as good.
Summary: We bought this because we heard (at a store) that it was Mac Compatible. It is very easy to use with a Mac, but does not have any of the additional features. The software it comes with is not Mac friendly. Overall, it works fine, but has been tough to find a way to focus it consistently.
Summary: Logitech brand Webcam is great then other brand. QuickCam Deluxe Webcam is very small and cute. Easy instalation CD & Travellig case is also included. Face detection feature is very nice. I am not very much happy because image & sound quality is not good.
Pros: Small, cute, easy to use, teavel case included.
Cons: Image & sound quality is not much better then STX model
Summary: Just like the 5000 series cameras before these (the "9000" series), Logitech has built a camera that puts out superb video (this one's video is better than the 5000 series, and those were better than the 4000 series). However, the software, lack of control, and enormous pile of bloatware that gets installed with the camera, coupled with its enormous system resource demands, make this another clunker.
