Summary: took some time to get it working but when I finally did, I was pleased. I only gave it 3 stars cause I had to hunt for the windows 7 drivers that were not available on the disc that came with the item.
Summary: DON'T MAKE THE MISTAKE OF PLUGGING IT IN BEFORE YOU PUT IN THE CD. It's a very tedious process involving me having to go to the site and download an updated driver, but if you have anything higher than Windows Vista, that might be necessary anyway. It works fine as long as I don't need to use it for a long time. But attempts to use it for an online, browser video chat ended in catastrophe. Shockwave crashed numerous times, even on non-chat sites.
Summary: This review is from: Logitech QuickCam Connect (Silver/Black) (Personal Computers) I ordered 3 of these quickcams for family members, and they work okay most of the time, but in some lights the image is blurry and the action stops and starts. They were very uncooperative about not accepting a return of 1 item I did not need, even though it was still in original packaging, never opened. So be very careful to watch your calendar if you ever want to return this product.
Summary: Not a great camera, but it works. I used it a lot last semester in order to Skype my friends at school. It tended to lag and the image/sound quality was subpar. If I were you, I would look at different cameras.
Summary: I only bought this webcam to use with Skype so it's not that bad. Image quality isn't amazing so I can't really take pictures with it, but for skyping it should work fine. Really easy installation and for $20 you can't really beat it. It also clips to the top of my laptop which is nice and easy.
Summary: I recently purchased this webcam, and it was fine for the price I paid for. The image and sound quality was fine, and it is compatible for any messaging/video chat programs. This product is decent.
