Summary: I don't know if mine was just a bad one, but everything worked easily and good but the picture was slightly wider than real life. The second thing I noticed, which happens to some Logitech webcams occasionally that have RightLight, is that the iris will lock up and show a black screen.
cam is really disappointing after that paying that much for it

Summary: I am really disappointed in this cam.........the light is never right and the pics are always never that sharp...Also it seems to make the picture wider than the original image. I preferred my old Intel one but, unfortunately, it won't work with Vista.
Summary: I brought this webcam based on great reviews and been a current owner of a much older QuickCam Pro 4000. To my great surprise this newer webcam the image quality is just horrible, even after downloading newer driver from Logitech. Can't imagine how can older technology surpass newer one.
Summary: Granted this "WEBCAM" is better than a lot of the others out there it doesn't do as good as it should in my opinion. Facial Tracking - it's nice but it just doesn't ALWAYS work, and it will loose tracking every few minutes and so on.
Summary: There are two software routines related to the video effects that will render your system, even souped up ones, unusable. The problem is well documented, yet Logitech has done nothing to correct this problem.
